Over the past couple of weeks, I've sent 13 pitches and I've landed one monthly retainer client, I'm talking with two more potential clients about writing projects for their business, and I'm in discussions with a marketing manager for a local university about coming on board 20 hours a week to do in-house work on a permanent part-time basis. There IS work out there and people DO want to hire copywriters.

I have sent my first 7 pitches and I have received 2 dream responses…and I only started sending out pitches last week!

You guys! I got a positive response back from the very first pitch I sent! …Beginner's luck? Maybe. Proof that Nicki's system really works? Definitely!

Color me happy. Less than a year into my CCA journey and two of my regular clients reached out today asking to put me on retainer for 15-20 hours each week going forward! Both with massive clients that I'll manage—and without a real end date in sight—so the work could go on for years.

I sent the copy over last night and this morning I got an email that said: "Pamela, you did an amazing job! This reads amazingly! I'm excited to share this with my client." THEN, she sent this from her client: "WHO WROTE THIS KILLED IT!!!!!!"

I officially landed my first HUGE (as in multinational tech company huge) client this week! …Exactly 3 weeks from starting CCA (and far from completing all modules). …I can't thank Nicki enough for creating this course and for the vast amount of value I see in this group every day. Thank you all. Once I complete the project and receive payment, this course will have paid for itself 3.5X over!

I just sent 6 pitches about 20 minutes ago and I already have a reply to one of them saying, "I'm excited to hear about what you have as far as ideas! I can meet up any day and time this week just let me know. Here's my cell number…"

In just my second month of full time freelancing I have already made enough money to cover my outgoings (and we're only halfway through the month…). HOLY S……. so the marketing agency I wrote for (yesterday's creative review) not only approved my final copy, they offered me a job!!! I'm officially working remotely on staff for them AND growing my freelance business 😍😍😍NEVER STOP CHASING YOUR DREAMS!

When Nicki says this is a skill people WANT and NEED for their businesses, she is not kidding. I have tried to avoid extra work and so have sought out nothing, but the work still comes for me…as word spreads, more people reach out to me directly for my services.

⭐️ I got my first client ⭐️ Anyone who has recently joined and is thinking you don't have experience or you're not sure what you're doing, let me give you some perspective: I am a train driver…Almost my entire working career has been blue collar jobs.
